It is kind of silly trying to give you a part 2 for the update. But here is the thing. I have been struggling with severe back issues (still am) for the past month. It is more to the side than the back and it is worst when I sit down. I have a job where I sit down in front of the computer, so it has been torture. I walk around every 1 hour for 10 minutes, but by Thursday, I am usually ready to give up on life. Since the virus scare, I have not been paying bills or doing non-work things on work computer, so my time at home has been taken up with a lot of that tasks too. I am able to walk around and lie down without issues, but sitting down is a big NO-NO. The absolute worst place to sit is the couch at home. And coming from work, sitting down is the last thing I want to do. So that is another big reason why commenting has all but stopped. Can't comment at work, can't sit down at home.
If there is an upside to all this pain is that our garden has never looked better. I have no issues cleaning, cooking and manual labor like gardening. It is an interesting time in life. What can I say?
Hubby and I are going to Hawaii for 10 days. This is possibly going to be our last vacation for a while. I will catch up with you all when we get back. I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to some time off. Hope you have a good weekend and a great week. I will be back with pictures and something else to share.
And to all those who asked about virus stuff on the computer, just make sure you have Norton or McAfee or something like that installed. Be very careful where you go. Hubby informs me that google applications should be fine. This includes blogger, gmail etc. The ones to be wary of are the independent websites. They might not have good security measures in place. And most importantly ALWAYS BACKUP DATA IN YOUR COMPUTER. So even if something happens at least not all will be lost.

So, are you flying first class to Hawaii, too? ;)
Ick, I hear you on the back pain. I don't know what causes yours, but I've had tailbone pain for almost five years. It is pretty much just when sitting. Toward the end of my 2 year secretarial stint, I seriously could not work at a desk all day; it hurt so bad. After two years of being a homemaker and avoiding sitting as much as possible (yet another reason why I haven't gotten a job), I can sit with much less or no pain now. Very grateful for that.
But I'm constantly getting on my husband to walk around at work as much as possible, hoping he never develops this problem.
One thing that got me through some days at work was a "space age" seat cushion. It's some kind of fancy, dense foam. I got my at the office store for about $40. Life saver!
But hopefully yours is a temporary thing. :)
haha. not first class. I don't have friends like you do. I am hoping the back pain is temporary too. I can think of a good reason why it is there.
Have fun in Hawaii and I hope the trip does some good for your back! :)
