Dear Niya,
You are one month old today!
How fast the time went! You were born so fast and the whole process was so great that I smile every time I think of it. It has been a great time after that too, you are such an easy baby. But I will tell you one thing. When you were born and even for like a week after, I was terrified of you. You were such a tiny thing I was afraid to handle you at all. And for two weeks you remained like that. Then you started putting on weight and now you have blossomed.
Today you gave us all big smiles with mouth wide open, looking right at our faces. These interactions are the best. When you wake up in the morning and after you have had your milk, that is when you are the happiest. You sleep with us (of course!) and you love to cuddle close to mama every night. Even if you have the pacifier and is wrapped, you will still complain until you are close and cuddled to one of us.
You have a closet full of clothes and one of my favorite things to do is dress you up. You don't really fit into anything other than newborn clothes. You have outgrown your preemie clothes and the 3 month clothes are too big, so my choices are a bit limited.
Neilu loves you a lot and wants to be with you all the time. At preschool he tells everyone proudly he is a big brother. You are very blessed to have him as a big brother.
You love car rides, made up songs and you tolerate the swing.
You are quite a happy, fun baby and thoroughly spoiled by your Ammachy who holds you all the time.
I love you precious baby, and can't get enough of kissing, and cuddling you every day.
