My stomach!!! It keeps increasing in girth every day. And there is not a whole lot I can do about it. It is hereditary-a gift from my mother. Thanks Mamma!
But for what it was worth, I darkened the door of a gym after a long time. I did stomach exercise, stretching, aerobic and even the monkey bar. I felt good, on top of the world. I was wondering why on earth I don’t do this every day. Everything went well until I got up today. Now I cannot lift my arms, all that’s there in me to hurt is hurting. And there is not a mite of change in my stomach.
R says I have to do at least 250 repetitions of the stomach exercise every day for a month to make any difference. I am thinking he might have told me that he does not love me anymore and doesn’t care if I live or die.
250 REPETITIONS EVERY DAY? FOR ONE MONTH?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
How much do you do? Do you have any suggestions to reduce the stomach inches? Please don’t ask me to reduce eating as that would be a waste of words. I love my food. I do not eat chocolates or meat much at all and wheat products-none at all. I do not easily put on a lot of weight, its just my stomach which gets bigger. Weird, isn't it?

I, too, was gifted with that problem from my mother. Lovely, isn't it?
Admittedly, I don't do any stomach exercises. Lately, I haven't done any exercising at all, unless you count packing and unpacking and cleaning things.
Men make it sound so easy, don't they? *sigh* My husband is a rail, so sometimes I feel downright blobby next to him. We try to walk in the evenings, but we haven't had a chance lately. He wanted to last night, as did I, but I had a migraine and just couldn't make myself do it.
Oh wow. It looks like you entered this exercise program a tad too quickly :) Maybe taking it slow, and gradually increasing the amount of exercise you do every day will be the answer?
Why would u do so many on the first day. I remember the last time I started off heavily, and couldn't even lift a glass of water the next day ( was trying to build muscle:)). Over a period of time, u will see the result. Patience pays AK..
Until I had kids, I was always a pear-shape, with a flat tummy and all my weight in my hips and thighs. I'm still struggling to figure out how to dress now that the whole "draw the eye to the waist" approach is no longer a good thing.
My advice? Get pregnant - and enjoy that feeling of never having to feel embarrassed about your tummy. It's enough to make me nostalgic for morning sickness.
I wish that I had some sort of words of wisdom but I have been thinking about this very thing! I think that my constant self image issues have been replaced by concern about my health!! I am doing a 4 week boot camp training in November.
I have a similar issue, but instead of my stomach, it is with my behind :P Thank you mom & grandma!
Kidding aside, have you tried increasing your water intake? Whenever I make a point to drink enough water every day, I notice that I not only feel better, but look slimmer. Also, work on your back muscles and posture before you worry about your crunches. Better posture will make you look far slimmer and a stronger back will make your future stomach work much more efficient. You could have the best abs in the world and still not look your personal best due to an out of shape back.
If you are not opposed to a bit of daily hosiery, Target carries a cheaper version of Spanx that are comfy and give you a clean line. I wore these for several months after my pregnancy while I was waiting for my baby weight and puffiness to go away. This little bit of fabric made a big difference.
