This is the first time I am participating in Shannon's WFMW.
My relatives in India, when they visited me gifted me with a shirt. It was a violent yellow and gold color and after wearing it once, I kept it aside on the floor to wash it separately. Hubby dear wanted to help me out and decided to do the laundry. He put it together with our other clothes and the result was pretty bad. All of his white T shirts and other white articles of clothing got dyed with a nasty yellow/orange. I tried bleach, washing it separately and it is not coming out. Can any of you suggest a method to get it out?

I think Rit makes a dye removal product. You might looking at the dye section next time you go to the store because I'm pretty sure that product exists.
For your hubby for the future, I have to recommend Shout Color Catchers. I throw them in if there's ever an article of clothing I have doubts about bleeding. They work like a charm.
I believe Clorox Bleach (safe for colors) has just come out with a product that is supposed to work. I saw the commercial on TV for the first time yesterday but I just cannot remember what it is called! I am sure Walmart should have it in the detergent section if it is out in stores by now. ;)
And thanks for stopping by my site and leaving your comment! I replied on my site just below your's. ;)
Sunshine. It is the only thing I've found to get color bleeds out. Rewash the clothes and either hang or lay them out in the sun to dry. It may take a time or two, depending on how much sunshine you get. When I lived in Arizona, the stains would be gone the first time and dry within an hour of laying them out in the summer. That is the one thing I miss about AZ.
No help here - I have a closet full of slightly pink towels and tablecloths from a couple of bad laundry incidents. I've always been too chicken to try bleach, which makes no sense, since I don't really use these items now in their pinkish state.
